Everything we found.
And what we built about it.
This is the whole story in one place: what's already working for Synergy Massage, what's quietly costing you clients, and the new website we've already built to fix it. It's live right now for you to click through.
Part one
What's already working
Your reputation is the real thing
58 of your 60 Google reviews are five stars. Clients name your staff, the atmosphere, hot stone, and deep tissue work specifically. Best of Gainesville featured your Japanese Head Spa to their 4,100 followers, and nobody else in town offers it. The product is already the best in Gainesville. The problem has never been the product.
Vagaro does its booking job well
Your booking, scheduling, and gift certificates through Vagaro work, and clients like them. Nothing we propose touches that. One of the top-ranked massage studios in Gainesville also books through Vagaro. They just don't let Vagaro be their website.
Part two
What's holding you back
Your website isn't actually yours
Visitors to synergymassageinc.com are quietly handed off to a page living on Vagaro's domain. Google gives Vagaro the credit for your content, and most pages on your own domain (services, about, locations) are broken links. Result: when Gainesville searches for a massage, a head spa, a couples massage, you are not on the list. Competitors with lower ratings get those calls every day.
The site fails the ADA standard, and it's not fixable in the builder
We tested all 7 pages against WCAG 2.2 AA, the standard courts use for the Americans with Disabilities Act: 65 failures. Zooming is disabled on phones, the booking window can't be reached without a mouse, and your logo is invisible to screen readers. Nearly all of it ships from Vagaro's template itself. There is no setting inside the builder that fixes it. This matters twice: about one in four adults lives with a disability (many are exactly who seeks massage), and health-and-wellness businesses are favorite targets for ADA website lawsuits.
The $49-a-month "accessibility widget" is not the answer
You may see ads for overlay widgets (accessiBe, AudioEye, UserWay) promising one-line ADA compliance. The FTC fined accessiBe $1 million in 2025 for falsely claiming exactly that, and about a quarter of ADA website lawsuits now hit businesses that already have a widget installed. Real accessibility lives in how the site is built. Which is why we built it in, free, instead of selling you a widget.
Part three
So we built it. It's live.
Rather than describe what a proper website would look like, we built the whole thing: nine pages, designed around your brand, your rooms, and your Head Spa.
Part four
Why this website converts
Every problem we found has a fix built in
| Today | New website |
|---|---|
| Google credits Vagaro for your content | Lives on YOUR domain; every search ranking belongs to you |
| Zero rankings; invisible for "massage Gainesville" searches | Dedicated pages for the exact searches locals make: deep tissue, couples massage, head spa |
| 4 broken menu links, pages that 404 | Nine working pages, every link tested |
| Booking page can hang on an endless spinner | Booking buttons on every page, straight into your existing Vagaro |
| Generic template stock imagery | Your real lobby, your real head spa room, your real couples room |
| Head Spa (your signature) barely mentioned | The Head Spa is the star: its own page, front and center |
| Fails ADA standard; zoom disabled; 65 accessibility failures | Passes WCAG 2.2 AA with zero automated failures, verified on every page |
| Heavy and slow (over 6MB, 5+ second load) | Under 1.5MB, loads in about a second |
| No hours, no prices, no address on the homepage | Real hours, real menu with prices, address and phone everywhere |
Built to turn visitors into appointments
- One goal per page: every page ends at a Book button that opens your Vagaro calendar.
- Proof up front: your 4.9 stars, your Best of Gainesville feature, and your license number greet every visitor before they scroll.
- The Head Spa as magnet: the one service nobody else in town has gets the spotlight, with your real room photographed. That's the page people will share.
- Gift cards as a revenue lane: a dedicated page pointing into your existing Vagaro gift certificates, dressed like a luxury brand.
Part five
Nothing here is set in stone
This is a first draft built for you,
not a take-it-or-leave-it.
Every word, photo, price, color, and service on that site is editable. Want different pictures of your rooms? Send us your favorites and we swap them in. A price is off, a service is missing, the wording doesn't sound like you? Ten-minute changes. The design grows with you: new services, staff pages for your team, memberships, seasonal specials. You tell us what feels right, and we shape it until it does.
